- Redness and swelling generally increases during the first few days after treatment and can persist for up to 7 days
- Your overall skin texture may feel dry and like sandpaper, that will subside after 4-7 days of treatment.
- Sleep elevated to avoid additional swelling
- Avoid sun exposure and all retinol products for two weeks after your treatment.
- Avoid scented lotions and soaps, exfoliating creams, shaving, swimming pools/spas with chlorine or other chemicals until sensitivity has completely subsided
- Avoid activities that cause excess sweating until sensitivity has completely subsided
- Avoid picking or scratching the treatment area.
